Alberta youth firearms question

I'm 17 and i just finished taking my canadian firearms safety course. I am now waiting for the 45 day waiting period to end so that i can finally aquire my actual license. This is great and all, but i dont exactly understand what it permits me to do. Can somebody please give me exact details of what it allows in Alberta? specifically, i would like to know if i could go hunting with a friend. I am 17 and have my minor firearms license and my hunting license, he is 18 and only has his hunting license. We would be using his dads guns who has his pal.
