My friends that camp and fish there have similar stories. The spawning area had maybe 200 fish last spring when several thousand has been the norm in previous years. Local fisheries staff have no answers...they abandoned their egg harvesting program and removed their net raft last year. I won't be wasting any of my fishing days there this year.
Lazy lake can be good or completely dead, depending on weather.
Both are open.

Unfortunately, I have heard the exact same reports from Premier Lake. It used to be a decent lake. The last 2 years were so bad that they have stopped the brood stocking program altogether. It could take a long time for them to figure out what has happened to the lake. It could take a very long time for the lake to recover.
