Quite the outfit, their hand loading division is just a small art of the whle outfit, some pretty space age looking equipment!

What issues have you been having with your prc? Which caliber?

From my understanding and reading about it: there is a slight bulge at the base of the round, just below where a standard sizing die just doesn't reach and size the brass.
How are these helping that?
The micro seating would have no effect on that issue!

“Clickers”. Now there’s a highly technical term!
Care to embellish upon this?

I was under the impression that minor changes to the reamers ( increasing diameter at the base) had pretty much eliminated this problem. AW2 and Manson M1 reamers should solve the issue. I have a 6.5 and 7 PRC and have had zero clicker issues with either. Cases on the 7 have minimum 6 firings at full throttle, 6.5 cases have 4. I can’t say which reamer was used for the 6.5, the 7 was cut with a Manson M1.

I was under the impression a bunch of people had tried making dies that would size the PRC bases, and they didn't really work properly, some had even split die bodies doing it, trying to make a Willis style die to do it, then came Alex Wheeler's PRCW reamer style which opened the chamber at the .200 line, and that cured it. IIRC it was something like .003 or .005 bigger in that area. There are some threads on Accurate Shooter and Long Range Hunting about it, Wheeler gets into it on one of them. Seems to me there was a thread on here about it that referred to all that.

The saami spec prc dimension at the .200 line is .533 if I recall correctly. The aw reamer bumps that to .535. If you have a die that doesn’t move the .200 line back to .530 even with the aw2 reamer, you’ll still have issues. New lapua brass is .529. My Whidden dies won’t touch the .200 line. It doesn’t move it at all .5345 even after the aw2 reamer. The micron die moves the base back to new.
