Default Weatherby vanguard s2 back country .257 weatherby.

Well, I am think it is time to upgrade from the old vangard s1 in .257 to a new .257 in a back country, does anyone have reviews on the back country?
Thanks,

If you do, just swap the old trigger into the new rifle.

The new trigger is an abomination at best.

The older trigger when properly reworked is a better trigger.

I respectifully disagree.
I have a vanguard S1 and a Vanguard S2. Myself, along with many many people think that the S1 trigger is Brutal, so brutal I replaced it with a Timney about a month after I purchased it. NOW, my S1 is fantastic all around.
The triggers on the S2's are a huge improvement, the 2 stage triggers break clean and crisp. Weatherby evn sells them on the website as an option to replace the original S1 triggers. Plus if you dont like the two stage, the timney's are about $150 and very easy to install yourself. And they sure are nice triggers!

Try one out, you will agree.
