Looking for hides to practice home tanning

Hello,

I'm looking for deer hides and coyotes to practice brain tanning. I'm not a hunter myself and hoping to find some deer hides to turn into buckskin; I've got some bits and pieces but I need a couple more complete hides before I can make myself a shirt!

I'm also experimenting with fur on hide tanning with coyotes, I've tried one so far with mixed results but I'm eager to try more with what I learned from the first one! If you happen to shoot one on your land for pest control I'd be happy to come pick it up and try putting it to use!

the lower section of deer legs (ankle joint down) would be appreciated too as they make excellent scrapers for traditional hide tanning!

I can't offer you anything fork sins so it would be you gifting them tom in exchange for seeing them not go to waste.

If you've got a deer hide or a coyote I can take off your hands please send me a message it would be much appreciated. If we are reasonably close hopefully we can work out a convenient time!

I frequent the Calgary, Cochrane, Olds area but can travel farther to pick up.
