Default Pulled Daughter and stepson outta school for some feathers

Was going to do a little solo hunting this morning, but these two brats asked if they could come. Since they're marks are nice and high thought why not. Daughter and stepson each came home with a limit and i suppose i know whats for dinner. Sometimes its just more fun letting the juniors do all the shooting . The little rifle sighted 20ga has done well for them

Two great lookin' kids on an awesome hunt!

Good for you for giving them a day off that actually makes sense.

Man, that’s awesome ABB! Huge congrats to both of them for hitting their limits—that’s no small feat! Sounds like you all had a blast, and letting the juniors take the reins is what it's all about.

One day, when my daughter’s older, I'm hoping to create those kinds of memories too—passing down the love for the outdoors and just watching her enjoy the experience.

Nothing like family time in the wild.

Cheers to a dinner well earned!

It's good to give them a little different education for a change, hopefully they want to make it a part of their lives.

A day with dad pays infinitely higher dividends than a day in school. Way to go, Pops!

Great day outdoors!! Not a November WT hunt where you might dim the enthusiasm. Mighty fine day out of class & earned with good marks. Well done Dad!

That is what it is all about.

I can't wait for reading week next month and my daughter comes home from Uni. She hunts with the camera while I hunt for grouse / WT. My oldest just has to find time in between 3 jobs to come out. I love my time with my kids out in the bush.

As I have gotten older I find more enjoyment in being the guide and getting the kids or even my Dad their personal best than getting anything myself.

Enjoy the easy ride, anti hunters. Strange to me why we seem to be doing your job for you.

Excuse me while I go puke.

Thx, shes asked for her own shot gun now, but a .410. As the lightweight 20ga packs a little too much punch for her liking. I told her she could use her grand dads .22 cooey next time for now, as shes a little sniper with it to 20 yards. Might be a pink muddy girl 410 under the tree this year.

Bless her soul though, shes a lefty. 🤪

Can't think of a better way to spend time with kids on a day away from school.
The fact, that they asked to come along speaks volumes and good on you for taking them out!
