Dates- Feb. 22-23 and Feb29- March 1, 2020
Times- Feb 22-23 , 12;00AM Feb 22. until 11:59PM Feb 23
Feb 29-1 , 12:00AM Feb.29, until 12:00PM March 1(noon)
Rules- Any fish caught in Alberta, including Persion Carp
Clear picture of the length of the fish with a easy to read tape
measure and the derby token
There will be a token of some sort available at 10:00PM Feb 21 and
Feb 28 that will have to be copied and filled out.
2 points for the longest fish in each category
1 point for the second longest fish in each category
Ties will split the point(s).
Live updates, as soon as internet is available.
Fish can only be entered on the derby dates and times.
2 Judges will have final say.
Open to all AO's members.
Teams of 2 or 1 fisherman Teams of 2 must fish together.
No prizes
No entry fee
All Alberta fishing regs. must be followed.
Lets keep this fun and easy. If I have forgot anything let me know. This is a work in progress.

ice tournament is gonna be alot more difficult to do then an open water one.
alot more work searching for different species in the cold haha.

sounds like a good time. no girlyfish for me but I have my eye on a couple pike and walters. hopefully a burb too

In case there is a tie at the end of the derby. March 1 12:00 PM. There will be a sudden death fish off. The first one to post a fish caught after March 1 12:00PM will win. We will need a pic. with the time shown some how and the derby token.

Interesting, won't be able to participate this year as all my spare time is spoken for until the end of March but it's kinda fun to go over different scenarios on how to go about competing.

Some beauty fish Dale. Got out for some perch today but couldn't quite tag one as big as that beast of yours, bit of an off bite but fun and good weather .
