Default Tub Trailers - Hunting on a quad

I'm looking to get a tub trailer for back and fourth to camp and running around in the bush. The problem I have is I want a "walking beam" suspension trailer but not one that weighs 300+ pounds. Seems they all have at least a 6' tub and are very heavy. There are many light weight single axle trailers in the 100- 200 lb. range. (Plastic and aluminum) No way the walking beams and 2 more tires would double or triple that weight. Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes smaller/lighter but decent quality? Thanks

Paddle Plastics in Mayerthorpe! I have two of them for the last 8 years, 6` plastic tub, steal frame w/walking beam axles. Both have been heavily abused and continue to work great. Keep the walking beam greased and never a problem.
I would definatley recommend!!

http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showt...light=trailers

Here is a discussion that took place a couple of months ago. I don't know of any trailers in that weight range. The trailer I have(MUTS) weighs in at 450lbs. but I don't have any issue moving it around and can almost load it by myself. Most times i just use the winch to load it up the ramps.

I have had my plastic 5' with lid new since 2007 with walking beam and a carrier rack up front for jerry cans or what ever.

Also used some rectangular thinwall tubing to box in the top of the tub to help keep it square and able to make hinges for the lid.. Works great.

Thanks guys. Machine is 800 cc so not worried about the power to pull. Just overall size and weight. Could build my own too but time is always the enemy there. Will have to check out the guys in Mayerthorp.

Not sure what all your requirements are, but I picked up a tub trailer from Costco. I am not sure of its weight but I can stand it on end by myself so not too heavy. It is longer than the traditional tub trailer, has four wheels, 2 to a side on the pivoting frame, but doesn't have a lid (which I would have liked). It was only $1200 so I have been very pleased. Not sure if they still sell them or not.

Is this the one you are referring to?
