Default Cougar hunting

Can anyone refer me?

I would ultimately prefer to meet someone from the board that has dogs and is willing to take an experienced hunter yet inexperienced cougar hunter out later this winter.

Feel free to P.M me.

I have some pal coming up from Florida/N.C this holiday season so there needs to be some special arrangements....Hence the reason I'm looking for someone private.

As I understand it you can bring extra people when hunting with hounds, sometimes it's actually beneficial. They find fresh tracks and hopefully it's in a "block" of bush and this can happen quite easily with all the damned seismic lines cut all over hells half acre

Then they post people all around the outside of the block so the cat can't easily run out the other side. The dogs are free to do their work and eventually the cat is treed.

have fun I'd love to watch a hunt someday.

Hannie If the Americans want to hunt you will have to find an outfitter with allocations. Call APOS.

I doubt they'll charge you, as a resident $5,000. I emailed 3 outfitters just before the summer and asked for resident pricing. Highest was $3,500....no trophy fees. Cheapest was $3,000. I'll find the emails and PM the info to you.
