Sounds like a great idea to me. We started hitting them hard in September already. Here's the first 3.
Well for some reason I can't post pictures from Taptalk anymore so that sucks. Now back to trying to edit photos in photo bucket and post from my laptop. Whoever changed that setting on the forum, that was a terrible idea

Wolf number two. Ironically this wolf and the moose beside it were shot within 250 yards of each other about 10 seconds apart

wolves
I started my wolf season off with a real bang! heading to work early in the morning, come around a corner to be greeted by 10 wolves in the middle of the road.It happened so fast and a split second to react,so went through them and connected with three!

Think I too will pass at posting my wolf kills on a unknown's thread.
A wolf should have more of a story than just a number on a tally sheet.

We need to be alittle careful of posting to many pictures of our wolf kills. The animal rights/canola crowd get their panties in a knot and causes us more grief than it is worth. Now that we have around 10,000 wolves in province and biologists believe we should try to maintain them around 4000 we should report our harvest to help ungulate population.

Yes i agree, a person doesn't have to post a picture of their wolf every time they get one. Just use this as a way of measuring how many wolves are taken

In the case of a wolf " the wolf is down"
Or in the case if an edible critter "the groceries are in the freezer" That is about it as far as any story needs to go .
If a person wants to tell a story that is up to them as far as I am concerned .

Here's a cow killer that was shot about 2 weeks ago. He returned to the scene of the crime and met his demise.

Wow, big wolf or short man lol. Nice and congrats.
Hope to harvest a wolf this year. Have a coyote howl call in my pocket at all times. See a decent spot, sit and call a bit when out in the big woods and wolf sign.

I disagree. Wolves are animals not usually seen by most hunters, except those who spend a lot of time in wolf-country for "work" or live on the Eastern Slopes & Foothills.
And given their high numbers and equally high number of kills they must be making, of ungulates or livestock... Post 'em up !

I didn't shoot it, my friend did. It was weighed on an accurate scale at 135 lbs.
