Perhaps I should ask this question directly to a F&W CO. But I will ask it here so others can benifit from an answer if it is given here. This issue may be covered in the trapping course you fellow are talking about.

If I get a resident trappers license and permission on some private land boardering a small lake, can I trap rats on the whole lake?

The lake is really crown owned and so maybe I am not allowed to trap the rats in the lake at all under authority of a resident license.

Thanks

No ya can t trap the whole lake or pond.Your permission is for the water directly in front of the property. This includes halfway across the body of water or 200 yds from shore .Hope this helps......Zepf
