Default World Series

Well the Yankees staved off elimination last night, can they make a complete come back or was last nights Dodgers bullpen game the reason they won

Tonight will be interesting

I believe the Yankees used 5 pitchers last night....Dodgers 3.

LA should close it out soon...but it is a battle of the billionaires, a salary cap is needed and until then MLB is a joke.

Right? Like you seriously think that IS NOT going to be an issue? Moron should be banned for life from mlb not just game 5!

The Yankees are alive and bringing it 5 - 0 after 4, they have hit 4 HR's already and the dodgers are on the 4th pitcher, never count out the bronks bombers

Yankees committed 3 errors to let the Dodgers back in it. Cole is up to 40 pitches this inning as the Dodgers bat around in the 5th. Yankees will have to dig deep to send the series back to LA.

Freddie Freeman should be the MVP if the Dodgers win.

Big Yankee fan here and they are done! Can not beat a team like LA committing error after error. It started in game one and with a lead and 2 outs. The idiots who grabbed Mookies glove and attempt at the ball are scum. Every team has some fans that steal oxygen!!!
Now on Soto?????? free agent going to cash in big but where? Hope he remains in pinstripes.

I was cheering for the Dodgers but felt terrible for Cole loosing that way. He pitched a gem and was decimated by 3 mistakes, including his own failure to cover 1st. Big error by Judge checking the runner before he caught the ball (it was the only error Judge made all season). Same with Volpe trying for the force at third instead of taking the sure out at first. In a 5-0 game, outs are more important than run prevention.

Cole can't fault his teammates for losing. His error was as bad as any. I was surprised to see him return to the mound to start the next inning.

Walking proudly to the dugout when you should be covering first isn't such a good look

I'm not a baseball fan, but thought I'd watch the highlights to see what you were talking about. That was hilarious. Just a series of miscues.

New York’s win probability peaked at 96%, and they lost.

Freeman was born and raised in California but has dual citizenship because of his parents. Hardly a good old Canadian kid being born and raised in California.

Freeman plays for the Canadian national team. That’s Canadian enough for me.

The Yankees scored enough runs to win but were killed by errors. Little things like Rizzo not backing up a throw from the outfield that allowed Oshani to go to third and score on a sac fly to tie game one and big things like the 5 unearned runs in game 5.

I agree the errors were costly but the Yanks had only 3 players who had 5 hits in 5 games, 2 who had 4 and the rest 3 or less. Rizzo for example had 2 and Judge was almost an automatic out.

I wonder if Boone will be back? Or Soto?

I think the Yankees poor fielding and base running will be Boone’s undoing, but it’s hard to sack a manager who took them to the World Series.

Soto was the only consistent offensive threat in the Yankees line up. I expect the Yankees to open the vault for him.

I would love to have Soto back but I think he is going to get 700 mil deal and that is WOW. Only turned 26 but that number is crazy. Someone will give it to him.
