Default Frank Lake Report

Went out this AM to run the dog and look around .

First thing I notice is at the south Parking Lot . Big herd of cows got the cover down to the dirt. Should be good for the upcoming pheasant release .
Not.
North end lots of banging , fair amount of Ducks flying.
The north end is kinda a off-leash dog park for High Riverites .
Couple of old birds walking a mop....freaking out about the gunfire..

If the pheasant release is going to be at the north end ....I cannot wait for that gong show...

DID anyone hear about a recent Avian Virus break out at Frank ...

rumor has it lots of birds died .....any info...

Just so as this is not a total **** and moan The shaved pointing Griffon

is a speed machine .....and not a burr....Loverly W101

Tonight I was wading in the mud to the East of the viewing blind and my friend that was with me said he was seeing lots of dead ducks. We were there close to sunset after a full day puddle jumping and all we managed to get at Frank lake was a small teal.

I was there to check out Frank Lake on Saturday night. (Camo Tercel in the North parking lot.)

I didn't see much action in the two hours I was there. Might have been way too nice a day for birds to have been flying around.

I did hear a lot of shots coming from the South area.

Is the AM better?
