Must still be some fas out there.
Riders 2-0 after a couple comeback wins. Defence looks good and then they leave receivers so open it hurts.
EE 0-2 look bad.

Yup the Riders defence needs to tighten up you can’t leave receivers a 5 yard gap the stupid penalties need to stop over a 100 yards given up the end was dumb luck kicking in.
Should be a good season coming up

Riders got lucky both games. The ball is funny shaped and bounces oddly. The last two game the bounces were in the riders favour.

Winnipeg 0-2 priceless.

Really like Sterns. Fast , can catch the ball and he is tough , can take a hit.

Didn’t see that ending coming. All the years I’ve watched the riders loose in the same fashion Hamilton did last night. Was good to see them on the other side of the ball for once!

2 bad games with great outcomes. They don’t ask how, they just ask how many!! Go Riders!

Riders didn’t win by luck; it was poetic justice for the fumble recovery they were robbed of.

Over the course of of 12 years I went from having season's tickets, to not being able to name a single player in the league.
I don't feel like I've left the league as much as the league has left me.

That's probably mostly it.
I feel like the league just doesn't have the appeal it once had. After they cancelled that season for covid I couldn't get back in to it.

Riders have got as many wins as the rest of the west combined.
EE keep their streak alive.
Blue bombers are bombing.
BC played a decent game.

Any one else notice there were actual fans in Mosaic today?

There were fans and they were loud I don’t know why they schedule games at 5:00 on Sunday didn’t get home till 2:00 dodging thunder storms my rant for the morning.
The green did well Harris used his receivers effectively the defensive had the Ti- cats on the ropes hopefully Harris will be back after the buy week our backup looked pretty flat.
The Elks disappointed the few fans in attendance again, the Bombers 0-3 LOL

Go Riders !

All teams need a running game. Oulette has not really lit er up with 72 yards on 29 carries first two games and 29 yards on 9 carries yesterday. But , he did get 3 first downs which keep the drives going. It will come , the guy is powerful and gives his best.
Harris was moving around pretty good on the sidelines but his painful reaction to the hit did not look good. Hope no bad news today.....or he has probably thrown his last ball in Pro Football.

Are you guys banjo pickers. You need to learn how to spell his name, Ouellette.

Your right , looked at wrong side of Stat chart. Eskimo's had 29 rushing. They have Ouellette down for 20 carries 98 yards and four receptions for another 47 yards. Not bad at all ! July 4th home game , bring on the Argo's.

It's still very early on but 3-0 don't lie. I'm quite impressed with coach Mace.

I keep losing track of the off-season acquisitions and I see that Two-Dads is now QB for the Elks.
I wonder if he can get them a few wins?

From what I've watched so far, I think the Elks are an improved team. 0-3 doesn't look good but they've been right in the battle and their games have come down to a play or 2. MBT gives them consistency, but I think they also need to find a way to work Ford into their game plan, even if it is for 5-10% of their offensive touches.

As for the Riders, if Harris stays healthy their run game will come together. 3 new faces on the starting O-line, 2 new running backs and a new offensive coordinator. Ouellette and Ratkovich are massive upgrades in all aspects of the passing game (blocking especially) and I think that has been pretty evident in their air attack so far. Once Mueller starts feeding Ratkovich the ball a bit they should end up with a dynamic offense that won't need to rely on stellar defense or special teams to win games.

Riders pretty quiet about Harris left knee injury. Last time it was his right knee so not good but better then aggravating the knee that took a long time to heal.
Next up date is supposed to be at practice this Sunday. Hope all is good , would love a victory over Toronto and 4-0

By all accounts Harris staying out was precautionary. He wanted back into the game and Mace preferred to play it safe. His limp was gone pretty quick in the 3rd quarter while on the sideline. He was doing footwork drills and eventually took the brace off during the 4th. I don't imagine it was much more than a strain. The team is off this week and won't practice again until Sunday so not likely to hear anything before then.

I believe Harris had his MRI the day or two following the game. It's more than likely he will be practicing on Sunday with the 1st team, fingers crossed.

The Bombers losing Schoen for the year is a big hit to Winnipeg's offence.

Edmonton might be the best team out there at losing.
11-43 in their last four seasons, including 2024.

Win percentage of 20.4% over the last four years, ouch!

I'm more of a hockey guy, Sharks this year absolutely sucked (worst record over the last 3 years) and they had a 28.7% win percentage.

The Elk curse continues

They played well unfortunately in a close CFL game whoever has the ball last usually wins.

Go Riders!

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American quarterback Eric Barriere.

No word on Harris I think this hiring says it all, injured after 3 games I had 5 in the pool

Roughriders return to practice without QB Trevor Harris
Harris has been placed on the six-game injured list after suffering an MCL sprain in Saskatchewan’s Week 3 game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

On Sunday, Harris came out to spectate a portion of the practice with a large brace on his left knee.

The news is not good for Trevor Harris or for Rider Nation.
We have QB Jack Coan , eager to see what he can do.

Bo drives Cats down the field and throws what shoulda been the winning TD. Then for some reason with 28 seconds to go Hammy kicks-off to the 30 and Ottawa runs her back to mid field or so...writing was on the wall.. a few plays later field goal game over. Worried about over kicking coverage or something ?? Bad.
