Question Picking up firearms from post office - what do I need?

Do I need an ATT (or anything else) when it comes to picking up a shotgun and a pistol from the post office (purchased at and shipped by Cabellas)? Thanks.

I had my dad pick up a revolver from the post office for me. He just had to prove he was over 18. The post office doesn't have anything to do with who is allowed to possess it.

Thanks. I was thinking if I get pulled over on the way back home, do I need to have any paperwork with me, apart from having an RPAL on me?

Nope. Whoever shipped the pistol should have it double locked. And you're not opening it until you get home. You're good to go. Make sure you have your RPAL on you. It should have an authorization to transport attached already.

I see… Thanks guys.

I got Benelli M4. Handguns are running faster off the shelves than pancakes at Stampede, so wasn’t able to buy anything yet.

Post office isn't in the picture. Get your parcel as normal and go home.

Disclose the contents of the parcel. Bring ID and take it straight home.

Why would you disclose the pkg contents? Post Office doesn’t need to know. They shouldn’t even ask, none of their business. Show your ID if asked and/or sign for it and head for home.
