Place to train duck dog in Edmonton

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone knows of any decent spots in or around Edmonton to take my duck dog to do some training over the summer? I have some land out by Ryley, but looking for somewhere in which I can take the dog after work through the week thats not an hour drive.

Along the north Henday there are a whole bunch of nice clear ponds and open fields along the exits, like Campbell road. They are quite a ways from the road ways. There are also some good spots off 142 ST north of 150 Ave and 127St north of 167 on the west side. Use Google maps with the sat image and they are easy to spot.

Thanks Man! I was actually looking at some of these on google maps but werent sure how they were for access and pond condition

Access is pretty easy. As far as pond condition u need to check that closely before putting a dog into them as they change over time.
