Default Syndicate Fly Rod

Looking to purchase a euro nymphing set up. After a ton of online research, I narrowed it down to a few rods. Syndicate rods are one of the top on the list. Anyone own or use one before? Looking for some Alberta first hand experience.

For the reel I am either going with a Reddington Tilt or an Orvis Battenkill Click. Opinions welcomed on reels as well.

Thanx!

Hardy was on my list as well. I might have to pass on it though because my daughter will do the same thing your son did

Never heard of a van staal vf, looked it up, that is a nice looking reel!!

I blew up the tip stringing it up one day and hardy replace d it even though I was the 2nd owner...the vf is like the hatch reels...buy once cry once...nothing wrong with your reel choices... for the most part they are just line storage
