Tried my spot this afternoon for a while, hooked and lost 1 smaller fish and that was it. Too early for sunset pics so I figured Id hunt something else since I was already in the hood. First was a gopher hole full of baby Bullsnakes, then wandered a bit more and found 1 beautiful rattlesnake before I packed it in. My hearing isnt what it used to be but I did barely hear this one, although it was behind me not in front unless I was hearing 2 of them. Also one of the reasons I always wear boots when I fish around there
