Default Prefab Lofts or Cabins

Hello was just wondering if any one knows of any place's that has prefab cabins of lofts for sale. The closer the better toward Lyodminster preferrebly but not necessary. As long as it can be moved on flat deck or transport and put into place were required. If possible you can post a link; will be using it as a summer holiday retreat or place to stay when I go home to pay respects; tired of always pulling travel trailer or getting a hotel and finding a place to stay at a relatives.

Note: does not need to be insulated or hard wired inside
as I can do that all myself.

Give Holden Colony a call or look them up online. They have quite a few good option for this I’m thinking and will finish it as much as you would like.

Default Holden colony

I’ve read good things about the Holden colony. Anyone know if there are any hutterite colonies down in southern Alberta that also do prefab? Anything under 900 sq ft has way lower taxes in some rural areas. Most manufacturers down here don’t build under 1000.

These guys are pretty horrible to deal with. I tried calling and emailing and got no responses. Eventually I got an email 3 weeks later saying they'd be around the office for a bit over a few days if I wanted to stop by.

If they are that hard to get ahold of for a potential build/sale then how will they be after they've taken your money.

Knotty pine cabins is brutal. A friend was told to come down and deal with them on a place twice and twice they were not there.
I had a interview with them to drive for them awhile back just to have them tell me to be there on a certain time and date so i get there and get **** on cause the load left 2 hours early.

My recommendation is buy some 2x4's and knottypine lumber and get at it. A couple guys could have it done in few days. Also by far the lowest cost, after you build one wall All the others are the same.

Agreed, but there's something to be said for just plunking the thing down and having done with it, however there are size and height constraints. Sombody in Sundre had one for sale on Facebook recently, apparently the loft part was removable for transport.

For sure, if you have time, tools and materials, it can go quite quickly.

The family from YouTube's BushRadical channel (https://www.youtube.com/@Bushradical) has several good examples of how they build simple cabins.
