Unhappy New to bowhunting and want to start with rabbits

Unfortunately they seem to be in thin supply at McLean Creek.

Being new to Calgary, I am wondering what is the best way to go about getting permission to hunt on land, or conversely, are there better areas to find rabbits?

Other than the rabbits here in the city, I haven't seen anything but tracks in the bush.

I'm not looking to rip up anybody's favourite spot, I am respectful and can keep a secret (you can PM me), but with the lack of friends here my options are limited to asking on forums and hoping for a break lol.

Thanks everyone

Might want to post this in the hunting forum

That said, I'm new to Calgary and looking for a good rabbit spot too. I'll let you know if I find somewhere.
