Default Cold Lake Provincial Park Boat Launch

So.

Just wanted to say hello and recap the day's events and let people know to look out for each other.

Launched my boat at the crack of dawn Monday morning around 5am. Parked my truck and trailer in the parking lot, same spot by the little walk down to the launch.

Went out for a good day on the water, nice calm water and played with some nice fish all over the lake. Helped to boost a guy by the English bay boat launch. Overall fun times

Then got back to shore around 2pm and found that my truck was missing!!! So looked around and found that whatever person took the truck ditched the trailer.

Talked to a couple guys and they said that the trailer was already ditched by 8am when they put in.... Had an awesome husband and wife help me get my boat out of the water and brought back to camp. These same people seen my truck abandoned just at the entry to the provincial park. They came back and gave us a ride out.... I didn't get their names, but honestly these are salt of the earth people and I would like to thank them propperly.

Long story short truck is fine. Had some cosmetic damage. Will need some parts and a paint job but glad to have the truck back.

Be carefully and look out for each other if you see something out of place call it in...

Tight lines and good times.

It was a 2007 classic body sierra duramax. Apperantly super easy to get into.

Looks like they drove it on the starter till the battery was dead.
