Default Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk

Opinions from anyone who owns one?

Pro's? Cons?

Personal vehicle, not a lease vehicle. No hellish roads. Sometimes pull a grizzly 700 on a trailer. Occasionally muddy back roads but likely won't see something really hellish unless it's intentional or I'm sure it can handle it.

Mostly looking to hear from someone who has one and can give some thoughts.

Basically, daily driver + some slippery gravel/mud roads + occasionally pulling the above.

I dont own one but have a friend that has one. Seems like a pretty solid vehicle. The backseat and trunk are fairly small so you would be limited on cargo room compared to a truck. Price wise I think they are comparable to a half ton (f150).

They seem like they are built for urban people who want that rugged look. I've been a passenger in one a few times and wasn't that impressed - they compare to a lot of other entry level small SUV's on the market and reminded me most of a kia sportage (interior). A lot of plastic.

If you do a lot of highway driving, it might be something to look at as they perform nicely although the stated fuel economy is something you will never achieve on AB roads. Check out this review for more details, driving.ca gave it a 72% rating which isn't great, but not bad either.

A few months ago we were looking for a new suv ,we test drove 2 Cherokees and actually liked it a lot, but after reading many reviews about it , it turns out they have many transmission issues, so we passed on the Cherokee , ended up with a Mazda 5 CX .

Although I like the look of the Cherokee.
