Really nice pictures. One tip, if you use the edit button you can fix posts that don't work. also, you can post multiple pictures and all different sizes in one post or use edit to add more, for about 30 minutes. You can also use the preview button and it will show you exactly what will show up on the post and you canb change, add more etc after each preview without starting the 30 minute edit clock..

I believe u are trying to post using your phone. Imgur is easier to use with a pc. Using your phone try talktalk. On the pc you need to pick the bbc link.

I am trying on my computer. I don't actually use tapatalk. I'll look for the bbc link.

Look at the pictures on the first page. You can see the bbc code far right side second from the bottom. You can also choose the size of the picture just below that area. Just paste the bbc link directly into the body then hit preview and u will see the picture.

The problem for me was that I kept on choosing "Posts" in the drop down menu on the top right of the page. Even though it shows all of my images it refused to provide a bbc code. Then as you know when you click on a specific photo you don't get an option for a bbc code either. But if you choose "Images" then you get a similar screen but you will be able to access the bbc code. It might be different on different browsers or operating systems, I'm not sure.

Glad it worked. The "post" option is for actually making a post on Imgurs social media stream. As you learned it is not for copying and posting images to forums and the like.

There are no end to the comments members make with their issues posting pictures on here so I’ve made some simple instructions on how to do it using Postimage. It’s quite easy once you do it a couple times and it’s free. From start to finish I can post a picture in well under a minute. Follow these simple instructions and you won’t have any issues.

Log into postimage and register an account.



Once done tap on “Choose image” and pick whether it will be a saved one from your photo library or take one at that time.



Choose your photo and hit add.



Hit the button to the right to “hotlink for forums”. That will copy the link. It also doesn’t matter what the original size of the photo is since Postimage adjusts it automatically.



Paste the link into the Alberta Outdoorsman thread of your choice.



That’s it, you’re done.

Nope. I use an IPad almost exclusively.

Are you trying with the PostImage instructions I posted? Every person I’ve ran through the instructions with could post pics in the end.

Could be a code 18….

I am posting with the imgur instructions that started this thread. I have not been on the forum for a few years since my computer died. I read a couple pages of this thread but I assume that you have easy instructions. I will scroll back til I finds them. Thank you so much for your reply.
