wow chuck you and 6mt sure have some beginner set ups there.. lol. Yes I am very jealous.
I just entered the world of auto chargers today, and got it set up so I am excited. Found what I think is a great deal so I ordered up a Hornady auto charge. So far so good on it weighing everything out correctly

Did nothing in my own reloading room,
But I built a bench and a shelf for my son, in a room in his trailer, so he can set up his press and start reloading for him self , next will be to help him set up his press and stuff

That’s funny!
Based on the prices I’ve seen on a couple of Ward’s auctions, I’d hazard a guess everyone spends too much ...

Couldn’t get my Lee die to seat the 50gr VMAX in my 223 cases deep enough to be past the lands.
I got a tip from CGN and used hot glue in the seating stem, with a bullet rammed up into it to make a mold and help get the right depth.
It worked and now I have 30, 223 rounds to take to the range. I always load a batch or two hot so I know I hit the potential of the rifle, so I loaded from 25.5-28.0gr of Varget in them. I most likely won’t shoot the 28.0gr ones, but depending on velocities and pressure signs, they may go down range.

A friend and I have been working the past month trying to complete my gun room. Started with bare walls and concrete floors. Last night we got most of the shelves installed still have one more narrow shelf to install about 12” above the bench. Then I have to bring myself to drill holes for my quick mount so I can mount my press.

Made 30 rounds of 308 win with Varget and 168gr SMK’s. I’ve got my hunting load dialed for the Tikka, now to find a long range plinking load.

Another 50 rounds of 223 Rem. Each round weighed, length checked and run through the ammo checker. It took 1.5 hrs start to finish. Time well spent! Felt like 10 min.

I did a bunch of cleaning out and sorting my stock, realized I wanted to store my brass better. The wife by mistake bought 2 boxes of large vegetable ziplocks that have holes in them throughout. I had some bags of brass with that style of bag, but majority in regular large ziplocks. So tonight I re labelled and sorted my brass bags to the vegetable style. I like them better because you don’t have to try to get all the air out to store them tightly. Just close the bag and it won’t balloon, also helps when I want to dry them off from the sonic cleaner, I don’t have to worry about extra moisture in the bag.
Also got me thinking, what does everyone else use to store dirty or clean brass? Little baskets or bags? How organized do you keep your brass?

Update: Lyman has still not even sent the missing handle. They correspond instantly, so that’s good. They said they would send it Dec. 4th. Then they would send it by Dec 11th. Then the 18th. Still not sent. I get corona is complicating logistics, but is it really this hard??? I figured if they sent it dec 4th I would get it around New Years.
I might call the retailer and ask if they will crack open a box and give me the handle. I hate to kick the can on them as it truly isn’t their fault, but this is dumb.

Woke up at 3:30am wide awake. Made a coffee and went to the reloading room. Loaded up another 100 223 rounds. Such a peaceful time to reload Wife and animals are still sleeping. Time for breakfast...

My favorite time of day to reload. With young family and pressure for your time at every turn the 2-3am slot is just so perfect. SO peaceful and relaxing

My reloading room is also my gun room/safe, hunting room, gunsmithing room....ECT. Today I built a beaver tail pocket and upper rifle/shotgun cover that attaches to the back of my coyote pack. Will make packing the shotgun easier to the stand. Also tweaked my sling design for my rifle to ride better with the pack. Hoping I'll get to try them out tomorrow afternoon.

Hey Chuck...I have three of those purple cups!
Here we are...a week later. My shoulder is sore. What does that mean? Lots of brass in the tumbler after today’s outing.
First...a two hour bath in the Thumler’s Tumbler.
Then another couple of hours on the drying tray....
My week’s work is shaping up.

I always seem to get slowed down to a dead stop after a few hours for some reason. If there was a bathroom in here I would never even have to go in the house....
