Bear baiting and sunken quad videos

He was doomed from the second he thought he could make it. I don't think there's anywhere near enough room there to allow for the current to push you downstream.

I thought it looked deep to the left of those rocks.

We shot the Wild Hay about 15 years ago to get into Moosehorn, same thing it was running pretty hard.
Quads went downstream a bit. Had to open up the belt cases of our Polaris's, an hr later we were running.
You were on an obvious trail with a washed out bridge.
Just lucky you didn't bump over that last lump.
Good on you guys, stay safe and get a good bear or 2.

I will let the arm chair critics have the fun with you boys, in my 40+ years of hunting with argo's, quads and S x S we have got into more than 1 pickle, swamped the odd machine here and there and watched an argo float down the river once by itself, that's how you learn how not to do stuff and what actually works best, good luck with the bears, and remember " lets be careful out there"

You're lucky it didn't turn out worse, water is a very powerful force.

Your are actually allowed to cross a river, stream, or creek at a trail crossing in Alberta as long as you use the most direct route.
You are not allowed to drive up and down the water and or disturb the river bed.

Does anyone here actually believe that he slowly rolling across the stream, not ripping and tearing or driving aggressively in any way was disturbing the stream bed any more than the high seasonal water flow? Use some common sense, he looked to be crossing in a proper acceptable way at what appears to be an old bridge crossing. The sh*t that is causing greif in the atv world is guys that pile into pristine mountain streams and rip around, doing donuts, water wheelies, and trying to get deep as possible or close to stuck and tear back out.
After all the sh*t i've seen done by the forestry industry in our stream beds I cannot believe anyone blames even the worst atv abusers are even a fraction of a percent of the problem.
