The other thing 99% of the idiotic electorate can’t figure out is don’t vote for the person vote for the party. The person is just the idiot the party chooses to be their face. Check out the crime homelessness drug use and economies of Portland Seattle Minneapolis Chicago Huston etc…these are cities democrats have been in control of for DECADES and how well have their policies worked to raise their citizens up?? Hell you don’t want to believe the party controls the candidate look no farther than Biden. Up until a poor performance in a debate several months ago he was the savior. Now how much do you hear about him? They swept him under the rug and kicked him out the back door. If I was a Democrat I’d be livid as he WAS the nominee. Who else would have run for president in their party had Biden not sought reelection but didn’t want to go against the incumbent?? Then they hand it off to Harris. Total violation of democracy. Let her win a primary fair and square.

Neither.
Harris was sounding more protectionist to begin with but also anti oil and gas.
However Trump has said he wants to renegotiate trade agreements. He doesn’t care about Canada and our economy. Cares less.
He has also become far more protectionist.
Is there a clear winner for one being better than the other. Nope.
Who ever wins… if they track accurately to their promises:
… we are screwed.
Based upon the news right now… Trump wins.
Fingers crossed markets like it and our RRSP’s benefit.
What I hope is that the republicans win enough majority that the fringe like Marjorie can be ignored. Then paralysis is more unlikely.

If Trump wins tonite and someone drives an arrow thru Trudeau tomorrow, I might just go out for breakfast!
I'd stride into A&W and say "one All Canadian, over easy with brown toast AND pancakes!"

At this point, it looks like the Republicans are poised to take the Senate AND The House.
Some of the swing States seem to be favouring Trump, with up to 95% of the votes in.

Thats the thing, US presidential elections are like the CFL. You can under perform through the regular season as long as you make it to the playoffs. Once your in the play offs you may be the long shot but still come out on top at the end of the day. It ain't over till it's over.

Watching ABC news and they just cut to her campaign manager telling everyone to go home, that Harris won't be speaking tonight. What a kick in the knackers to her supporters. They adopted her out of the blue when Biden was replaced, and she can't even talk to them and give them encouragement?? Sure sounds presidential to me eh badbrass?
