Back end is still not getting it together when pressured which comes in spurts resulting in quality scoring chances.
This can be a good or bad thing depending who you cheer for!

Fun fact Oiler fans, Chiarelli could have picked Jake Oettinger but went with Yamamoto instead.
Another fun fact, Broberg has a better start this year than any of our current defensemen.

Better game. Yes the win is good… but what I like the best is the oilers are shooting and D is playing incrementally better. Although penguins are playing horrible… Oilers have improved and if that continues they will contend once again.
50 shots. A shut out. 4 goals.

Well saw one news outlet speculate that McDavid has a high ankle sprain injury. Once that gets confirmed after x-rays and testing he could be out anywhere from 4- 6 weeks, and worst case 4 to six months....yikes. I wonder if Stan Bowman is on the phone right now trying to work out some trades, till he comes back.
