I don't think he's putting anyone on the left in contortions. Dems probably love him. He isn't taking one vote away from them. He'll do more damage to the Republicans than he ever will to the Democrats.
I would have said Trump will never get in, but after what we saw in Alberta... an angry protest vote can go awry if everyone else decides to do the same thing. I can see the headlines now "Oh God, what did we do???" LOL

Trump would be good for the American people, bring the jobs back from China and Mexico. It may already be to late but America is sliding towards being a Third World police state with millions of left wing voters pouring over the border that will vote for free stuff. From what I see only Trump or Paul would stop it and this is the last election cycle before it is absolutely to late.

Paul is the only sane republican candidate right now. I don't see the other ones make any change at all except for the usual. More breaks for corporations and maybe even an all out war in iraq again that will plunge them deeper into debt. Donald Trump is just batsh*t crazy and I don't think he's serious in becoming president. It's more of like a publicity stunt for him.

Never underestimate the left's appetite for socialism. Looks like lefties from Alberta to Iowa are in a hurry to emulate Greece.
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/07/us...iowa.html?_r=0
The enthusiasm that Mr. Sanders has generated — including a rally attended by 2,500 people in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Friday — has called into question Mrs. Clinton’s early strategy of focusing on a listening tour of small groups and wooing big donors in private settings. In May, Mrs. Clinton led with 60 percent support to Mr. Sanders’s 15 percent in a Quinnipiac poll. Last week the same poll showed Mrs. Clinton at 52 percent to Mr. Sanders’s 33 percent.

No we need more socialism for the top 1% and multi trillion dollar wars in the middle east instead.

My Prediction
Trump all the way, because he is right about the USA is getting ripped off by a lot of countries to include China, Mexico and the Saudis. Also because people in the USA are sick and tired of politicians that are put in power that have zero real life business experience, like Obama and make decisions to satisfy groups that they are indebted to.
Right now our American friends need a leader, not a hog at the trough. Hillary would be as bad a leader for the Americans as Trudeau would be for us Canadians.
The silent majority to vote him in, GO TRUMP!!!

Hopefully Trump will awaken the sleeping giant that is the average American non-voter (the majority of the country).....but Walker is probably the best 'all around' Repub candidate that will be liked by the greatest diversity of people.
Trump is a wildcard and if he surrounds himself with an intelligent team (and actually listens to them) then he could pull this off....but he needs to get off twitter and stop these petty arguments with TV writers and journalists etc.
But lets remember what the most vocal part of America has become.....loud, entitled, politically correct sheep who are living in a world driven by fear. They will choose the leader who sounds and looks the best on camera over the next year and a half...regardless of what their actual character is or what policies they represent...its how its always been.
I am worried that Clinton will be ushered in just because she's the first woman....just to get another minority (in terms of presidents) into the office and prove how 'forward-thinking' and politically correct they are as a nation.
The scariest outcome I could see is Clinton/Trudeau as was mentioned earlier....can you imagine the weird mother/son relationship that would turn into.....she would absolutely spank him silly.

I am ready to pay a $1000.00 to actually see the spanking!!! Man you just made my day: I can just imagined the picture: Hilary bends Justine over her knee and spanks his bare butt... Bahahaha!!!

I like several and dislike some. It's early. Don't like Rand Paul at all. Like some but I don't think they have a chance, like Dr. Carson, Carly, Rubio, etc.. They would make good running mates perhaps or, secretaries, etc..
Trump is playing on a populous that is sick and tired of politicians and the Washington establishment. He's refreshing but I don't think he has the staying power however.
Scott Walker seems like the best so far IMO.
There needs to be a drastic shift. The US will not survive another four years of this same old crap. Clinton may get busted yet. If Sanders gets in (he won't), can you imagine?
In Canada there is only one choice. If Harper doesn't win we are in serious trouble. I'm not feeling confident though.
