Realized last night that we ran out of something very important. At about 9:30 I’m off to the grocery store. A 10 minute trip turned in to a 30 minute trip. I took the wife’s car because it’s cheaper on gas but should’ve taken the truck...... just the depth of the snow was making the driving hard, snow above the front skirting while changing lanes, etc.

Wet snow & wind took a lot of ice yesterday ....

Looks like it's our turn.

It's 1:00 am and I just looked out. From what I can see with the front porch light, it's an all out blizzard out there. Looks like about two inches of snow on the ground at the moment and it's coming down hard.

It started around 6:00 pm, very light snowfall at first but it's been intensifying with each passing hour.
We could easily have six inches or more on the ground by morning.

Good night all, time to go hibernate.

Just out on the acreages by St Albert, light dusting of snow on the lawns, roads are melted off. Occasional light flurries off and on since it got light. Winter really doesn't want to let go. Glad I am not out playing in the mud looking for Bears! Much prefer sunny weather and dry roads.

Looks like we missed it. Thank God!

Sunny and dry yesterday, Warm, sunny and dry today.
Forecast says warming throughout the week and up to +20 by next weekend.

I think (hope) it's done here for this spring.
