I take both mine by myself bowhunting everyyear. So far, we've got a goose and been full draw on a mule deer doe. Seen lots of critters out of range though and even heard a few snorts.

I just had my 5yo little hunting partner out all day. Not only does she sit on stand all day with me she even helps butcher and wrap all of our meat.

We all can't be hunters, that's would make the world a 'loud' place! My feeling is GETTING the little monsters(only when they are stuck inside!) outside!

When my son was younger, I took him on many of my hunts. In this pic he is about 7 years old and wearing some of my old camo-tied up with a rope belt and a Rambo headband.
He was an eager partner.
He's in his 20's now and lives in BC, but these are good memories for me.

I take mine out when its not too much walking or momma comes along. She enjoys it quite a bit, and likes getting up close to the birds and exploring them.
I prefer she knows where meat comes from and know what animals are really like outside of disney's world.

3 of my 5 have been out, or all 5 if you include hunting for gophers and Easter eggs (a fun tradition where we set up the eggs and shoot them till they are gone or throw them and shoot them with shotguns!). The oldest three have all been part of harvesting big game. 2 of them have shot their own deer or elk so far. Son got his fist WT buck yesterday!

Have taken my 4yo daughter out on small excursions. The two year old probably next year. I think they enjoy it so far!

Took my kids when they were younger. Trouble was they always had bread crumbs and managed to find their way home.

Just started my 5y.o. grand daughter shooting balloons with the pellet rifle. She loves it.

Mine's a little young still (15 months), but my plan is to have her hunting, though if she really has no interest, then I'll just let it rest. I'm unsure as to how early I can realistically do it. I was thinking of maybe taking her to the hunt camp during the setup stage for the first couple of times and start teaching her about being silent in the woods and such. I'm unsure how patient my hunting buddies will be about it, though. Uh... ditto the non-hunting misses.

I was also thinking of getting my bowhunting permit so that I can intro her to hunting during the uh... quieter season.

I don't push them into going out, but when the time comes and I have them bugging to go I get them out there as much as possible for multiple species.
My girls are also very into shed hunting in the spring.
19 yr old Boy has his licence and my 11 yr old wants to get hers as soon as she hits 12. Even my 6 yr old is interested.
I enjoy every moment afield with them.

I have taken my son hunting with me since he was three. He has been with me on two successful archery moose hunts, one rifle moose hunt, two rifle whitetail hunts, and several unsuccessful elk, moose and deer hunts. He's been with me calling elk and rattling deer. He only just turned 10 but already is a wiser hunter than I was at 20. Nothing more rewarding than taking a child into the outdoors!

My 9yr old twin girls have been coming with me every fall since they were one. We have taken a lot of game together and shared some great times that I will never forgot. They have grown-up on AO!

I have two girls, one 6mo and on 2 year old. Since me and the wife both hunt they come along too. Sometimes we truck hunt, sometimes one of us goes for a walk and the other stays in the vehical with the girls and watches a cutline.

Some interesting circomstances come up, like dad leaving everyone for 3 hours to go find cell service after mom plants the truck in a huge hole, or mom keeping the girls buisy while dad spends 1 1/2 hours recovering a couple deer mom shot out of the nastyest snag filled burn he's ever seen Some people might even call it bad parenting.

Funny though, ask my two year old if deer have fur and she will tell you.... "sometimes". Probably about the only two year old who has come to that conclusion i bet.

I have 3 boys. 6, 4 and 20 months. The two oldest can't get enough gopher shooting, duck and geese and coyote. They feel pretty special when i say were going out. This year was my first time taking the two older ones out for deer. Was holding out for a bigger buck this year but when the opportunity on this guy came with two of my mini me's beside me I couldn't pass it it. Memories more important then trophies that for sure! Their faces say it all
the youngest is two loud right now... won't be quite. Might be good for yote season this year, haha

Plus it's handy now that the oldest is pretty good with a camera

I've had my boy with me probably 50% of the time this year. He sits and chews bubble gum, and I try to look for deer. He sure gets excited when he sees 'em coming. I had him with me on the coldest day so far. He's my good luck charm, we managed to nail a 165" 5x5. And all he kept telling mom was that dad shot a big buck! He's almost 3! Man I love that little guy. We were on our way to the deer blind and he says " Dad, I gotta go get my gun, in case I see a coyote". Just awesome!
