Where did get this info ,Both may get 20 million or more then 40 million split .
I could be wrong ,but please point this out exactly where this is true.
Jake has big chin and better not let Mike get in to close right away .He still has a mean punch.

Here's what I see JD and yes, Tyson goes liver then Tyson right upper cut, meet Jake Pauls jaw
" How much are Mike Tyson, Jake Paul getting paid?
Neither Mike Tyson nor fight promoters have publicly revealed what Tyson's payday will be for the fight, but boxing industry experts have estimated Tyson could make somewhere in the range of $20 million.
At an Aug. 18 news conference promoting the fight, Jake Paul offered a clue to what his payout might be. "I'm here to make $40 million and knock out a legend," he said."

I just have a feeling Tyson is going to blow his wad early. And I'm not going to enjoy watching the rest of the fight after that.

Bingo this is what I read also . Your very right on the liver shot and straight upper cut to the jaw . I watched a clip on him hitting the heavy bag and it sounded dam loud ,crazy power.
No matter what happens Tyson at his best no one could touch him , just my opinion , but one of the greatest ever .
In my rec room I have ALI posters because Ali did 1000 x more outside the ring for his people then inside so for that he will always be the GOAT in my eyes.

They claim Ian Tyson kept singing long past his prime, because of all the women he had to support.

Hope Tyson pounds the stuffing out of Jake the flake for 4-5 rounds and then K.O.'s him with a crushing upper cut.

It's an exhibition made for TV fight with a 20+ million $$ pay day for Tyson and 40+ million $$ for Paul, it's about the money nothing more. Do you think either of them would be there if it was a 1 million $$ pot winner take all, looser get's nothing ?? just saying

To be fair, you could say that about any sport. Think Edmonton's playing last night if that's ^ the case? They aren't, as Nashville is out of cash.

It irks me that Jake Paul gets to pull this crap off. If he was real, he would get in the ring with any ranked boxing contender his own age and weight class. He would get demolished for sure. Also, kind of irks me that Tyson took the bait for money. Money comes before class and respect these days.
This is nothing but Hollywood. The weigh in and slap was all staged too.

Sanctioned fight with three deviation caveats, like mentioned above.
14 vs 10 oz gloves
2 min instead of 3 min rounds
8 rounds instead of 12

Tyson vs. Paul has been sanctioned as a professional fight, with judges officially scoring the bout to declare a winner at the end. This differs from Tyson's most recent bout against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, which was an unscored exhibition.
Money is all part of in all aspects of this fight from the corner street to the corner of the ring but this is a fight and they will battle.

Sanctioned by the State of Texas with the noted caveats, so a sanctioned exhibition for $$$$$$$$$$$
I know all sports is driven by $$$$$ but $60 million split 2 ways for a 16 minute non title nothing fight is a little over the top ........... but then that's just my opinion which really means nothing to anyone but me.

$20 and $40 million are big purses. I suspect 99% of the people on this forum would set aside their pride for that kind of dough. Paul is doing Tyson a favour by letting him in on it.
Prelims start in 3 hours.

Like really??? WTH??? Too bad Nunes had no power. I’d have loved to see him get popped on the button during his showboating.
This next one is a title bout, so let’s hope for a good one!
