Another succesful day
Had an hour and half to kill this afternoon so i through the belly boat in at figure eight lake. Lost a couple real nice ones right at the boat, but i guess thats just fishing. Using a homemade leach (just started tying this winter so im happy i got some that work) and a sink tip line.

Nice fish. Catching them ona fly tied by your own two hands adds another element to the experience. Nicely done

Yeah they were a great fight on a nice green leech with gold wrapped around it. Took the wife out tonight, she managed to land 3 small ones, she was really excited and proud of herself, biggest trout shes caught so far so it was good. I lost another big bow, it had my rod keeled right over and snapped off right near the boat...should have had my drag a bit looser or something. anyways all in all a good day of fishing and sure was alot better then working!

Just landed another set of beauty's. No camera this time though (forgot it in my rush to get out there). 2 18"s, 1 19", and the big one 23". caught another handful around that 15-16 mark but didnt take the time to measure those ones. For anyone heading out PM me and i'll send you the pics of the flies im using or could probably even hook you up with a couple if your in the area. Its getting pretty murky in the water now, i bet in a couple weeks it will be all plummy and no good anymore.
