Default Question for Mounting Scope

I've just mounted a new scope onto my rifle and have one question to ask. I set it up exactly how I feel comfortable; that being said; it's not 100% lined up.

What I mean to say, the cross hairs when I look through the scope are horizontally correct, when I put the rifle at a true vertical plain, the cross hairs are slightly of to one side.... maybe 3-5 degrees at most.

My question is: Do I leave it where I feel most comfortable, or does it have to be set up exactly at the true angle?

Thanks

Set the scope up so the crosshairs are perfect when the gun is perfectly upright. This will actually help you to hold the gun properly.
