Default Something a little off about this rifle.

What is it?

It's the wrong hand for you, and the cheek rest is on the wrong side.

Strange combination of left hand stock and right hand action.

There are rifles for bench shooting that eject on the opposite side of bolt handle, but I believe this is the case of a rifle that has fitted a "universal stock" that has the "pancake" on both sides.

Nope, these stocks are either as right or left handed as they get.

Could be for a left handed hunter with a right master eye.

X2 on the Weatherby and the picture makes it look like it is a synthetic wood looking stock, not real wood.

The top rifle has an arrangement that is hardly uncommon. Many left handed shooters grew up shooting right handed bolt action rifles. But they still shoot from the left shoulder so a LH stock is appropriate. The bottom rifle is probably close to one of a kind. The builder was waiting for McMillan to complete the first rune of LH stocks so temporarily stocked the rifle with a RH one so the owner could take it to Africa.

HaHa. I saw the brown stock and that was it. I figured anything else wrong wasn't as bad as a brown stock.

Now I'm keenly interested in what your "nice" looking rifles look like. Got any pictures?

I dont think you will be happy with that leica scope on the second rifle chuck...I have heard bad things about them I can give you one of my scopes and maybe put that on my .17 hmr.

That scope is not right for that rifle.

That is what that pic screams out to me...glad to help you out.

I have posted some of my guns here. If you like brown stocks, then have at her. I have a 375 H&H in snow camo. That gets a few grunts at the range. I got it used. Probably wouldn't have ordered it that way but it looks good to me now. Here's a few. Not all my guns are on my computer, and some of the pics I have are fairly old. The snow camo one has a 2-7 Redfield on it now. And the SR-22 is olive drab cuz thats what my boy wanted.
