Default Burbot fishin

Weres ur fav. spot in centeral ablerta, and any tips u got?

I have seen alot of them in wizard lake if its slow there i'll go to pigeon where i regularly see them as well.

caught more pike than burbs at Wizard but some of the die hard went really late at night to go get em.

get a rattlin jig tipped with a small shiner at wizard. then bounce it off the bottom. you can catch them any time of day, but just before dark i seem to catch more. try about 100 yards out from the campground shore/beach thing. if you find nothing go deeper. but I should mention I have caught them in 10 feet of water there some days.

also chip lake west of edmonton has some really good burbot fishing

sylvan lake is the best ive ever been to. -Use a Jig head and maggots

was ar sylvan monday night caught a couple walleye, no burbot tho goin to go try again to day
