Happy Netflix was free as it would have been sad to have paid for that.

Excepting being that Tyson is a pop culture icon. Chewing his glove and that saying he has a biting fixation lol.

Tyson was so gassed. Could hardly speak and looked like he had trouble standing.

Mike came out swinging for all of 45 seconds. He was breathing heavy after round 1.

I don’t think there was much chance of a KO out of Tyson…. Father Time remains undefeated.

I agree though. Glad it was free, I would have been ****ed if I had to pay to see that “fight” on PPV.

Yep, 2 of the bouts were great. Sadly and as I should have expected, the main event was so sad. I expected more for some reason yet Tyson looked like he aged 15 years in a week and what 'a biting fixation"? Better the glove than JP ear I guess. See ya Mike. There was a time you were all that.
Had our netflix attempt to croak but we made it through without issue

Kind of a Rollercoaster ride.
Rd 1&2 I had real hope
Rd 3-5 I was worried
Rd 6&7 I felt kind of sorry for Mike
Last round was more symbolic, than an actual fight.
Like something you'd see in Rocky 10.

Anyone that was expecting a good tilt was delusional and rightfully upset.
I can see people being hopeful that Mike would drop that punk. I know I was.
But in the end this was about money, and Mike proving to himself that he wasn't old and useless, yet.
Anyone getting up there in years will know exactly what I'm talking about.
He definitely trained like he was in it to win.

Either way, it was nice to see Iron Mike dance one last time.

I really wish he would have hurt that punk though...

That’s the first time I’ve seen Jake Paul fight and he earned my respect. He’s a legit fighter. He’d get killed by a ranked fighter but he’s better than average.

I also give Paul credit for fighting smart and not hurting Tyson. Tyson was in real danger from round 3 on and Paul could have really damaged him.

I agree.
You could definitely see him back off, which I commend him for.
Mike was in trouble after the 2nd, and I think Jake realized life would be worse for him if he knocked down a past-prime 'old man'.

Having said that, I feel confident saying that the second toughest, if not the toughest opponent Jake has ever faced, is a 58 year old man.
He is a long ways from being a serious contender.

With Netflix freezing up every 10 seconds I finally got fed up and went to bed, reading this morning and I'm glad I did.

As I stated earlier it was nothing more than a 60 million $$ exhibition and all about the money, some writers are calling it the worst display of fighting ever and by the sound of it Tyson was done after 2 rounds, Paul let up or he could have really hurt Tyson, I hope that fat old man shuts up and fades off into history now forever.

Tyson was in trouble when he walked to the ring. When he fought jones jr he looked all right now he looks terrible. This is nit the sport to bring back old athletes. Holy field lookd good physically but pretty much fell out of the ring when he through a punch.
I guess there is a reason reason that holly field and Tyson still tried fighting. 600 million or so in combined prize money in their combined career and a net worth of close to 0 by the end of their careers.
Tyson probably doubled his net worth last night good for him but he talked about more fights. Nobody wants to watch that again.

Two rounds and the old man was tired but stood in there.
Better than any of us would do hands down heck those two women would smack most of us around in the ring easily.
Now that was a battle watching those two women go toe to toe, holy crap talk about tuff!

Tyson looked sick like he ate a giant meal minutes before fight. Belly was stretched and his face looked like he needed a dump bad. Pitiful. Jake the flake is a girlie boy. Running his mouth that he was going to F Tyson up. He had a chance to T off on Tyson and didn't. Im not saying try to kill the guy when you have him on the ropes but box ! A real bad look for boxing. Jake fights any pro boxer , even a light hevyweight he would get pummeled , maybe last two rounds.
The other fights were pretty good except for Katie Miller head butting and clutching. Serrano got robbed.

I didn't bother watching the spectacle, and it sounds like I didn't miss anything. That being said, I would enjoy seeing Jake Paul fight a credible boxer his age, and take a beating.

Haven't watched any fighting for years. It has turned into a sideshow like wrestling. MMA and all that crap, if it were for real most of those guys would be brain dead, crippled or in the ground already.

Fight kind of reminded me of wrestling. More of a sparing show. Paul didn't look like he was trying. Mike wasn't anything like old Mike.
Mike will have retirement money.
In interviews of Mike in later years he seems to be a better man and really turned his thoughts around.

You missed two very good fights.

I still think Paul is better than he gets credit for. He’d be a top ten ranked fighter in Canada and he has people talking about boxing again. It’s also hard to blame the guy for taking an 8 round, 2 minute per round fight against someone he’ll likely beat over a tougher 10 round, 3 minute per round fight for about $40 million less than he made on this fight. He’s definitely more of a business man than a fighter.

On that note, a Canadian (born in Russia) light heavy weight boxer became the undisputed champ in October. First time since Roy Jones JR united the belts in the late 90’s.

A good reason to finally dump netflix. They couldnt support the feed.

In the end, I think two good things came of it;
Paul did NOT finish his opponent-a 58yr old man;
A 58yr old man professionally threw 27 punches in a ring.
Good on Mike but, wow, I wanted to see Paul twitching on the mat.

Yes and Jake made 60
I believe win or lose Mike was making 20 and Jake 60. Could be wrong on how that worked.

Oh common guys! Mike is almost 60 years old, he has been fighting since he was 12 and in pro fighting since he was 18… He has taken so much beating and sustained so much trauma and injuries that with the combination of his age- I’m surprised he can even walk on his own! He fought like a 60 years old and he looked like a 60 years old. The other guy is a 27 years old stallion!
I’m proud for Mike that he was an actually very active in the first two periods and was able to survive the other 6.

I didn’t say common type 60 years old. He is obviously in much better physical condition that you and me combined. But in relation to his involvement in sports and a life time training, compare to the young buck he was fighting against- he is a 60 years old man.

And I didn't have to put up with the Netflix issues, so I still don't regret not watching

X2 I would rather watch The YouTuber take on a current champion in his weight class.

It’s interesting to say the least, marketing the right names brings in a lot more money than two pros in their prime, the reality is people are more looking for entertainment than sport to watch, well so be it.

Mike honestly looked good for 58, and good for him that he will rake in a good sum, as he spent most of his fortune on gold bath tubs and pet tigers……

Jake Paul is not dumb, I don’t like the guy, but he should never be called stupid. The world tunes in to watch him in entertainment fights that wouldn’t or shouldn’t even be aired in a fight night on pay per view. If he wants to prove his legitimacy he should fight a ranked pro, but he never will because that would be stupid.

After seeking that I would have fought Tyson.
Tyson had him about six times in the first two rounds and didn’t hit with power. He pulled his punches. If he hit with power it would have been a knockout.

Iron Mike looked good for a, comparatively speaking, 22 year old, let alone a 58 year old. Guy is still a beast for his age. Guessing not many on the forum were in his kinda shape at 58 when they were in their 20's lol. That being said on his walkup to the ring he just didn't look like he was into it. Definitely no killer instinct look like days of old.

As for Jake Paul he certainly is not dumb at all. Guy is worth more than the Lotto max pays so good on him for that. Not many can say that.

Tyson gets millions if he wins or loses reminds me of Evel Knievel jumping the snake river he hit the chute before the bike left the ramp.

All I saw was buffering doesn't sound like I missed much
