Default Ice line

Any one use the Ice Line?

I have never tried it and was thinking either ice or braid for my ice rods.

Any comments are appreciated.

Ice line has a bit of a coating on it that is supposed to keep the ice from forming as easily. It kind of works, but only for a bit. Any braid I’ve tried eventually builds ice unless you always fish in a heated hut.

A fella showed me a trick he would take his lypsyl lip balm and the part of the line that touches the water whether jigging or not he put this on.
So last year I tried it well it repelled the water so I still just use normal braid.
