The knife handles very well in the grip too, no rolling or slipping when cutting .

Are you using it to gut the animal too or just for chopping heads off and clearing the bush? I would think that the shape of the blade can be handy for that, just insert it and slide up to open the cavity…

I haven'tvtrird to gut with it, no, I have a d3dicated knife for that
I use it to open the sternums, cut brush, break pelvic bones , and chopping off heads,etc.
