Wmu 304 porcupine hills mule deer

I know the 2024 hunting season isnt over yet but im already thinking about next season. I am debating on drawing my muley tag in wmu 304 and then hunting in the porcupine hills during archery season. I would scout through the summer if i do. I am very motivated to get a muley with the bow but was wondering if it is worth it to draw my tag there or should i focus on a different wmu.

Your scouting over winter and spring will definitely help your decision.

Spend some time scouting the winter to see what quality bucks survived the hunting season, if you see promising deer in areas that you think you’d want to or would be able to hunt (access or physically) give her a go!

^ with a caveat that there are migratory mule deer in 304 in the
winter.... The draw application will have to be made before summer scouting.

Regardless of all this, a look at the history of 304 should be enough to help a person make up their mind.
