The 22creed is pretty intriguing but wonder why no one chambers a fast twist 22-250

I would assume because the SAAMI dimensions of the chamber is not designed for the long bullets .

Finally got the new 22/25 creed out for a spin. First pic has the 25 barrel on. 22 barrel does not have a brake.

Still dialing in the load but looking like 42ish grains of h4350 and right at 3700 with the 62 eldvts. Once its sorted I will add it to the load data thread.

Yeah. Custom chambers mostly, Bill Wylde, Larry Bartholamew and JJ Conway were ripping up the the Fclass World years ago when it first got going with fast twist .22/250's and I know Jim Dugan had one Yeats ago with one of Ron Smith's barrels on it.

the tapered case of the regular 22-250 is terrible for case growth, trimming is a never ending job. it also is not the easiest to tune because of that.

So far in my sample size of 1 it performed perfectly. Will see as time goes on and less then stellar shots occur.

this one was perfect broadside perfect shot at about 100 yards and perfect performance tiny entrance and nothing else.
