It doesn't appear that camping there is the issue, the issue is leaving the camper unattended for more than 72 hours thats the issue. You can't leave the camper unattended for more than 72 hours and you can't camp for more than 14 days in the same spot. Pretty simple.
Just because other people sometimes get away with doing things they shouldn't doesn't mean it okay..
