Wow, what an offer! Great job RD Fish and Game!

Hard to believe that you would be short of kids for something like this. Unfortunately my oldest is only 11 or I would be getting in touch.

Good luck and have a great day with the kids and dogs!

I took my son to this 2 years in a row when he was a teen. It was a great day. I’d encourage anyone who can to take advantage of this great opportunity put on by the Red Deer Fish & Game Club.

Kids can complete Hunters Ed and be able to hunt birds at 10. Big game is 12. My son just turned 10 in September and completed his hunters ed and we went on our first pheasant hunt on Sunday. If we were closer, we would definitely take advantage.

Default head count

We now have 8 kids for this Saturday now but only 2 for Nov 2nd....likely conflicts with Nov1 bid game opener locally. Can take more for both dates.

Was at this event and it was wonderful. My first time hunter 13yr old bagged 5. He did awesome as did the other hunters. Was a great event- hunter safety, skeet shooting, hunting pheasant followed by how to process. Thanks so much to those who put this on!

This sounds like a great program, hopefully more youths get to make advantage.

I drove past a sign that said "youth pheasant" today and wondered what it was.
Now I know.
Looked like a nice morning for it.
