Don’t own but probably will soon. Buy once cry once and do it right. Buy an AMP.

Reasonably priced rules out the AMP but I get it.

Burstfire Annealer looks interesting and is priced well enough.

I have an Annealeez, no beefs. Another style is the AGS at Dominion Outdoors.

I put my own together as the one on youtube on the homemade induction annealer.

Just under $300 into it. Been working great for the last year.

The one I used to build mine from.

He has a part 2, with some extra pointers.

I adjusted mine for 10 seconds between cycles, and don't have any cooling time I need. Seems more consistent for the annealing.

I also added a computer fan to run continuously on the back end of mine with a 3d printed adapter to fit onto the end of it. I also have a computer fan on my desk blowing at the casings in the holder, towards the annealer while i'm working on them. Again more consistent for me.

I have run 200-300 cases on runs with no problems of over heating and shutting down.

How do I know its working, making a difference> I have lowered my ES and DS on my 50 shot strings on the 6.5 creed. Is it only the annealing, no, but it does help. I anneal after every firing now.

Default Thoughts on brass annealer

Burst fire 2.0 for the win it works as advertised and doesn’t break the bank
I can anneal brass and keep an eye on while resizing other brass

"Reasonably" is a totally subjective criteria. How much precision and consistency do you want? I want the maximum for precision shooting so I use AMP.

Default Brass annealer

I think as long as the heat and time are consistent it should be sufficient to do the job no matter what the price

Buy an AMP Annealer. They are worth it!

If your interested I do have a brand new salt bath Annealer that I bought and never used. Complete with all the goodies and extra container of salt. Lee lead melting pot and a few other things.

I think the AMP annealer is a great peice of gear. But I went the cheaper way and got the burst fire. Consistently get single digit sd’s. So I’m not sure what the advantage is going to the amp. Unless a guy was competing or something.

Default Ags annealer

I own and use the AGS unit. Pretty happy with it. Get single didgit SD and sometimes get ES under 10. The company that sells them are very good to deal with. They didnt ship a specific part when they sent it. Called them and they sent the missing part imediately.

Unless you're some kind of bench rest competitor or extreme long range guy a dark room, torch and drill every 5 times you reload the case works great and makes you money.
