Anyone interested in cow/calf moose in 248?
So, I’m hoping I don’t regret throwing this out there but, here goes.
I find myself deep in a work project, and I won’t be finished up until the end of October. I have a cow and big calf moose on my place, that are very regular in the afternoons. Bow season is shot for me but, I’ll still be able to save November and enjoy chasing Whitetails in the rut. It’s sort of a slam dunk. There’s one tree stand in particular that they go by on their way to feed, as well as a ground blind where they end up. I’d like to offer this opportunity to younger or senior archer(s) if I could. Doesn’t look like either of my kids have much interest in taking a moose as of yet so, I’m throwing it out there. Access to the stand is a little tricky for terrain but, the ground blind is a very leisurely stroll.
My tractor is available to get loaded up once one, or both are down. I just don’t want the puddings pulled before it leaves; or a carcass, if you go gutless. I’ve got enough coyotes around as it is and I don’t need my dog rolling in a gut pile either - which he would, guaranteed.
Anyway, if this tickles someone’s fancy; I’d like them taken out sooner than later, so things can quiet down plenty afterwards, for when I’m in the game. Only two hitches, for how they are travelling, you need a SE, S or SW wind to make a play. The second, deer are off limits, I’m selfish with them - end of story. PM if interested.
