Using the new tag system

Okay, so I bought my licenses, recorded the tag numbers, and paid my $172.00.

I see an order summary that lists:

• License number
• License year
• Quantity, etc.
• License #

There is a hyperlink for the License # but I don't see the actual license. All I can find is the order summary, which I don't think is valid.

Where can I get my license that I have to produce if requested?

I have never ordered the blank tags before, always just gone to Canadian Tire and bought mine. Figured it would be nice and easy to just order the tags and buy them online. I thought I heard you could order the blank tags from mywildalberta or Albertarelm sites but couldn't seem to find anything. Is there any update on where we can get the tags mailed to us or is it the same locations from back in 2009?

I've had my tags mailed to me for years now. And they do it fast. Never more than a few days wait. Week at most. Order now so you have them when you need them.

Call the Alberta RELM help line and request that they mail you a bunch of tags.

If you frequent any of the licensing places. Just grab some there too. I was at Canadian tire and they gave me them for free.

If you have to go to a license issuer to get the blank tags. What is the value of doing it online instead of just getting them from the issuer?

Because when you get the blank tags you can get several...then down the road if you need to get tags, you don’t have to go anywhere because you have them.

I had tags sent to me this year to buy online
does anyone know why all the tags that I have tried to use produce an error message " Licence inventory status is used" and won't accept it

I had problems with my ordered tags as well. Just call in, and they'll get you fixed up right quick.
