Default Bear Baiting Post Wildfire

Curious if anyone has experienced baiting bears in an area that burned out by wildfire the previous year. I am new to baiting so this is my first time coming across this situation. Currently, I have a barrel setup in a mostly burned-out area, but am not getting any action on it and am debating moving it.

My understanding is that the year after a wildfire occurs the ground vegetation comes back much stronger than previously, in part due to the lack of the tree's leaves blocking sunlight, creating more food for spring bears, but the lack of cover might not be ideal for bears... Thanks in advance for any input!

If anyone was wondering, I ended up betting some action on it. Picked up a decent sized bear on the trail cam coming in solo and spending about 11 hours on site
