Flying With Your Ice Fishing Gear

Will be flying to Winnipeg in a couple weeks for my annual trip to LOTW, curious how you guys fly with your gear?, first time not driving.

Anyone try bringing their flasher/sonar as a carry on? I'll be switching out the lithium battery for the old SLA.

Plan on putting my reels in my luggage, rods will go in my hard case and checked in as a second bag.

Any suggestions?

I just took the sonar on the carry on and rods in a rod bag on carry on. I didn't have any issues. I put all the lures in checked baggage.

I had to bring the lithium battery in my carry on. 12v 10ah.
