Going to bump this one more time. Apparently Eghberts is no longer operating and unfortunately the guy that owned it passed away.

Looking to see if anyone has recommendations for a good place to get alloy rims refinished here in Edmonton. Got a quote from Wheel Works. They want $360 a rim. Brand new OEM replacements are only $500 a pop and I can buy new takeoffs for about $200 a crack off Kijiji. At those prices, for rims that aren't marked up very bad, doesn't seem like refinishing is a good deal to me. Would like to find somewhere that does good work for a reasonable price or I may just keep this set for winter and buy an set of new takeoffs in 19" 5x120. Thanks.

I am also VERY curious on this same topic. I would probably spend $200 a wheel if that’s even remotely reasonable?

Had these done at Hubcap and Tire warehouse in Edmonton on gateway. Not sure if this is what you're looking for. Rims are aluminum I think from my 2012 silverado. Had them powder coated. Excellent work. Under $1000 for all 4. They are super clean and shiny, don't let the reflection of the snow fool you as it looks mottled but its not. Still look good as new today. Sorry for the poor quality pics.

$250 a wheel is in the reasonable range, particularly if you are changing the colour of the wheel at the same time. Looks like nice work too.

Do you want the curb rash filled in or just the wheels stripped?

Impact Coatings will dip the wheel in their acid bath for 80 a wheel, gets the clearcoat off and returns to bare aluminum

What I was wanting to do is get the curb rash fixed and then painted so they look like they did new. The rest of the car is immaculate, these are the only blemishes anywhere on it. I have located a couple of sets of pristine takeoff rims for quite cheap so it may end up being easier to just go that way.

The car will be here Thursday this week so I will take a real good close look at the rims. Might just keep them as is for winter use and pickup a set of takeoffs for summer tires.

For sure easier and cheaper to buy take offs then. Plus you can sell yours after.
