Default Seat covers for dogs

Looking for a rear seat cover for my truck, ram 1500 classic.
Currently have a 10month old Shepard/husky/something else. Need something for the back seat, easy to clean and durable. Most likely getting a second dog aswell soon. Once I get some proper crates, the dogs will ride in the box, when weather allows, but I still need something for the back seat.
What do you use? I don’t mind spending, but would prefer something around 200$.

I used a waterproof Browning cover for years, and it kept the rear seat like new, for under $100. Now that I have a the F150 with the flat rear floor, I just leave the seat folded up, and the dog lays on a pad on the floor.

I have the same Browning seat cover from Cabelas. Wish I would have bought it when I got the truck.

Have the same one off Amazon as golf, works great. Actually gives her something to rest her head on to be close as she needs to be always.

My two ride in the box the vast majority of the time, but if that's full I'll flip the back bench up and put down their XL padded Costco bed. (Sorry, no link, it was an in-store buy.)

Saved having to buy a cover for infrequent use and gives them a little bit more room than just the seat would.

I bought a couple moving blankets (the heavy duty quilt type) and fold up rear seat and lay those out on floor for dogs.

Comfortable, durable, machine washable and if you have extra people to drive around they just fold up (or you can put them in bed).

Extra passengers, I'm sure, prefer to sit on a clean seat instead of a dirty seat cover. The dogs don't climb furniture in the house and I treat my truck seats the same way.

That browning cover looks good. I actually looked at it at can tire.
I wish my truck had a flat floor in the back when i fold the seats up. I guess a guy could build a small platform to slide in there and still leave access to the storage bins under the seat. Might be more trouble then it’s worth but maybe not.

A flat floor is the best solution, but many vehicles don't offer that. I used the Browning cover for five years in two different trucks, and other than having to cut holes for the seat belts, the cover worked fine. As has been mentioned though, the cover gets dirty, not fit for someone to sit on with dress clothes.

We found these at a pet store in Leduc but they do ship from BC too.

We have them for the wife’s Mazda and they work great. The F150 has a flat back floor so it’s a blanket and dog bed when the pooch rides with me.

I bought a few moving Blankets from Princes Auto. I use them to cover crates on pups and back seat of truck.

well do something sooner than later
My six month old Chessie ate a hole in the backseat of my old car
I never got to upset as there are lots of those seats at pick and pull
Then I had the back seat of my ram flipped up and he ate a hole in the bottom or the under of the seat. That one he did a good job on
Now I have a piece of plywood up against the folded up seat. Should have done that sooner
Now I have the backseat of the car and truck loaded with old Tim's cups or other things he can chew on People would think i am pretty sloppy but it does the job
Last Sunday I let him run in the bush first he ate a bunch of horse poop and then for dessert he ate two covid masks that someone had thrown out. Was able to find the masks in his poop

Fold your seats down and in ram you will have covers to make it a flat floor. Then put a rubber Matt down and solves your problem. You can get dividers that clip on your head rests to keep dogs in back vs allowing them to come thru to front. I have the kennels in back with canopy. Just quick easy way to travel when need be

That’s a great idea. Princess Auto puts them on sale frequently

Soggy Dog covers are awesome. I have two that have lasted for 10 years underneath three different elkhounds. I didn't know they were still available.

I have the Browning one from Canadian tire as well for my young lab. So far so good. Brushes off easy. I’ll even throw some towels or an old blanket down on top of it if she is real wet or dirty just to avoid unnecessary extra mess.

I just ordered one for the truck. I also picked up some plywood to make some sort of a platform when the seat is flipped up.
