Haven't been out that way for quite a while but I would say it is. Water to the east is still ice covered so Beaver will be as well, but just guessing

According to satellite images on April 21st, it still looks like it has snow/ice on it.

It's definatly still covered, other than a bit around the aerators. Apparently still a foot of ice I'm told from ice fishers. Guessing it will be changing quickly with weather and moisture.

Sentinel does not necessarily update every day. Every 3-5 maybe??

East of Wainwright there's a big area that's been almost 10 days.

There is a calendar function so you can tell when the pic was taken.

I've had the calendar open. They've got some glitches.

There are some big chunks of real estate that haven't updated for well over a week despite what the calendar says. I finally loaded the kayak and headed to a "snow covered lake" . Ice was out over 100 yards in spots. Boated a pile of trout.

Had the lake to myself.

Yeah I've spent quite a bit of time in this since learning about it and I really can't make heads or tails of the calendar. It would all be so clear if they put the date it's actually showing on the map.
